Adult Vaccinations

Download our printable vaccine checklist to take with you to your doctor.

Adults need to stay healthy to work, take care of their families,
and stick to other obligations in their lives – and vaccines
help to do that. Staying up to date on your vaccination schedule, even as an adult, is the best way to protect yourself and your
loved ones from serious illness.

Adult vaccines protect against common illnesses, such as:

Shingles

Shingles is an illness that causes a painful rash. People get shingles when the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), which causes chickenpox, reactivates in their bodies after they have already had chickenpox. Vaccination is the best defense against contracting shingles.

Hepatitis B

This virus is a serious and often deadly infection of the liver. Vaccination prevents infection of the virus, as well as the chronic liver damage and cancer that it can cause.

Human papillomavirus (HPV)

HPV is the leading cause of cervical cancer but can also cause other cancers in both men and women.
The vaccine helps prevent you from being infected with the virus or
passing it to others.
